Cliques

& it's just like trying to enter into a gate-less hedge, running into the thorns and prickles. With every time you try you are hurt more and more, but you strive to be in so you would belong. In the end, you decide to use one last resort. With effort you sought to climb, falling into the world beyond the gate-less hedge. At last, you thought, I wouldn't stand out anymore, just to find, them throwing stones at you, the trespasser of the world out of their hedge. & you now heave a sigh, with bruise and cuts, as they push you through the painful greenery.

You watched a plain hill of simplicity, a thought crossing by. A smile is formed. It's time to make your own walls. You walked to the hill and then stood, and say gate-less hedges are the most stupid things ever formed.

Screw cliques.

Perspective

Were you given a situation, what would you think of it?

Just an example to demonstrate : If you and your friends were planning to go for a picnic during summer, on the day itself it rained heavily.

What would you think? Most of the time, we only think about what was taken away or what we can't do anymore according to the situation, when we are somehow blind to the things that were given to us or can do. We take those things for granted.

Should I be sad because of the fact its raining heavily during summer, or be glad for the downpour that will quench the thirst of the flowers?

Should I be crying cause you are gone, or be glad cause you've gone up to a better place?

Should I complain how prickles have their place on flower stems, or admire the beauty of a rose?

Should I complain a wardrobe of clothes isn't enough, or be glad I can have some to wear?

 Most of all,

Should I be angry at my parents who scold and lecture, or be grateful that they have brought me up?

In the end, it all comes down to perspective :)

Intuition

In a deck of cards consisting 52 cards, so is life with its chances and challenges. Unfortunately, not everyone has a complete deck of cards. Some may even consist of only half, or maybe even less. We don't even realize the internal ticking of the clock which is placed in our mortal bodies.

SO,

When life deals the last two cards, you know what they are.

Go ahead. Take a chance. Pick one of them. You have 50 / 50. It's simple. You either flip over to see the card engraving life or death. But in the end, whether you managed to live, you still have to take the last card. Death is always going to face you. It's inevitable. So you are going to be faced with a question :

ARE YOU READY TO DIE?

Thing is, where are you going afterwards? Death isn't temporary...

Holding Back

"Are you ready? It's your turn to jump into the greatest moment of your life!" said the bungee jumper expert, Ray. Flan only gulped and stared at the steep fall of a cliff that he will jump off. Suddenly, a surge of fear overcomes him. "I..I can't do this!" said Flan, taking off his attire that was given to prepare his death-defying act. "But wait!" said Ray. "I too, was a new one like you. At least listen to me." Flan could only relucantly agreed.

Often times, something or someone is holding us back. Let me name a few...

EGO
 FEAR
DEATH
FAMILY
FRIENDS
TAKING CHANCES
DOING SOMETHING NEW

Flan was glad he listened to Ray. He threw his fear of heights aside, and put on the attire, with Ray helping him. Flan gave a thumbs up as he took in a big breath. "Remember what I told you!" said Ray. "On the count of 3! 3, 2, 1!" With a burst of utmost courage, Flan leapt off the edge of the cliff, leaving Ray smiling.

So hey, what about you today? Flan threw aside his fear of heights to enjoy the thrill of bungee jumping. Perhaps you've been elected as president of a council, a leader, or something new. So give a little wonder :

"What's holding you back from success / progress today?"
