Cliques

& it's just like trying to enter into a gate-less hedge, running into the thorns and prickles. With every time you try you are hurt more and more, but you strive to be in so you would belong. In the end, you decide to use one last resort. With effort you sought to climb, falling into the world beyond the gate-less hedge. At last, you thought, I wouldn't stand out anymore, just to find, them throwing stones at you, the trespasser of the world out of their hedge. & you now heave a sigh, with bruise and cuts, as they push you through the painful greenery.

You watched a plain hill of simplicity, a thought crossing by. A smile is formed. It's time to make your own walls. You walked to the hill and then stood, and say gate-less hedges are the most stupid things ever formed.

Screw cliques.

Perspective

Were you given a situation, what would you think of it?

Just an example to demonstrate : If you and your friends were planning to go for a picnic during summer, on the day itself it rained heavily.

What would you think? Most of the time, we only think about what was taken away or what we can't do anymore according to the situation, when we are somehow blind to the things that were given to us or can do. We take those things for granted.

Should I be sad because of the fact its raining heavily during summer, or be glad for the downpour that will quench the thirst of the flowers?

Should I be crying cause you are gone, or be glad cause you've gone up to a better place?

Should I complain how prickles have their place on flower stems, or admire the beauty of a rose?

Should I complain a wardrobe of clothes isn't enough, or be glad I can have some to wear?

 Most of all,

Should I be angry at my parents who scold and lecture, or be grateful that they have brought me up?

In the end, it all comes down to perspective :)

Intuition

In a deck of cards consisting 52 cards, so is life with its chances and challenges. Unfortunately, not everyone has a complete deck of cards. Some may even consist of only half, or maybe even less. We don't even realize the internal ticking of the clock which is placed in our mortal bodies.

SO,

When life deals the last two cards, you know what they are.

Go ahead. Take a chance. Pick one of them. You have 50 / 50. It's simple. You either flip over to see the card engraving life or death. But in the end, whether you managed to live, you still have to take the last card. Death is always going to face you. It's inevitable. So you are going to be faced with a question :

ARE YOU READY TO DIE?

Thing is, where are you going afterwards? Death isn't temporary...

Holding Back

"Are you ready? It's your turn to jump into the greatest moment of your life!" said the bungee jumper expert, Ray. Flan only gulped and stared at the steep fall of a cliff that he will jump off. Suddenly, a surge of fear overcomes him. "I..I can't do this!" said Flan, taking off his attire that was given to prepare his death-defying act. "But wait!" said Ray. "I too, was a new one like you. At least listen to me." Flan could only relucantly agreed.

Often times, something or someone is holding us back. Let me name a few...

EGO
 FEAR
DEATH
FAMILY
FRIENDS
TAKING CHANCES
DOING SOMETHING NEW

Flan was glad he listened to Ray. He threw his fear of heights aside, and put on the attire, with Ray helping him. Flan gave a thumbs up as he took in a big breath. "Remember what I told you!" said Ray. "On the count of 3! 3, 2, 1!" With a burst of utmost courage, Flan leapt off the edge of the cliff, leaving Ray smiling.

So hey, what about you today? Flan threw aside his fear of heights to enjoy the thrill of bungee jumping. Perhaps you've been elected as president of a council, a leader, or something new. So give a little wonder :

"What's holding you back from success / progress today?"

Chances & Options

What are the chances of you meeting the person across your car window?
The chances of meeting a pen pal?
Coming across someone you've foreseen in your dream?
To arrive home, finding a family member... to commit suicide.

DEATH
is utterly and definitely real.

Billy's mom is driving home with her son Billy as she then asks him how's his day. "Mom," replied the son bitterly."It's no fun here either. They don't want to be friends with me. They call me ugly, stupid and fat!" "I see," said the mom. "Do you want to transfer school again?" "It's okay mom," said the boy tiredly. "I'm sick of these people. They're are the same! Everywhere! Mom, will you cry when one day you can't find me around anymore?"

Often times, we feel like Billy, who is constantly rejected by his classmates for his physical appearance. People laugh, they say it's part of growing up. But they don't know, how scarring that makes victims feel. Even Billy feels like taking away his life. He needs to be saved. From his emotional torture. In the end, we've all got to treat people like how we want to be treated back.

Accept their past. Mold the present. Enjoy the future.

Shower someone with compliments today. Give a hug. Receive some back if it is returned. Face it, people are dying out there with their unheard cries. They know they're a mess and they want to be someone better but they need help.Write love on your arms. What the point of having if you don't give? Are you like a doctor among healthy people? Mean what you say. What you do today, could mean a lot tomorrow when you look back. You could save a life. So hey, which are you today?

To be saved, or save?

Liars

And as she stretched out her hand towards him in the most dramatic way, a round of applause was heard. The crowd cheered and screamed for more. The actor and actress smiled, and continued what they have been doing for years.

In the end, everyone lies. No one can disagree with that. We lie to avoid things such as punishment, or maybe it has been made into a habit so bad. Often times people may say,"Hey, no one knows. So why not?" The thing is, that's the issue. Even though you're the only one who does know, that is what that counts. In the end, telling the truth would be better, leaving you without a guilty conscious.

As she then put her hands around his broad shoulders and smiled, the crowd applauded again, but much louder. As the heavy red curtains fall down to conclude the end of the drama, they both pulled away and heaved a sigh of relief. They put away the characters they were before when they were on stage and reverted back to their normal off the stage lives again. As if they both never knew each other.

Actors. The greatest liar of them all.

Don't Let It Be

Don't change how you are to suit your situation like how water takes the shape of it's container.

Instead...

Let the situations change to what's fitting for you as the container and the solution of the problem / crisis.

The Chicken & The Egg

What is the speed of light? Whatever it is, it is fast.

BUT...

Darkness is waiting. Now let's go into a detailed debate.

Light. Often used to represent purity, holiness, the good side.
Darkness. Potrayed to be evil, unpure, filth, the bad side.

Now which one is stronger?

Often in many shows or anime series, darkness is seen to be conquerous over the light. The antagonist seemingly defeated the protagonist. Evil seems to triumph over the good. But most shows end up with the antagonist either captured/defeated/killed and then the protagonist just stay in the limelight looking cool.

But, if darkness is first, only then light can shine!

Sure, I agree, but what if we turn the tables? ;O

Which existed first?

Honestly, I believed they both existed the same time. It's two powers both equally powerful fighting for dominance. Or at least that's how I find it.

And in the end, this topic depends on how you honestly see it. It's just like the chicken & the egg. Like hey, which one came first mou?

Not Only You

We've all felt like this before.

But in the end, we know who can accept us for who we are :)

& it will happen.

Hehehehe! Tell me watcha' think about it mou ;O

Tear Off The Plastic

Harlo. It's me here. My alias is Mou Mou, which pretty much gives away my identity.. =_=
Anyway, at the title of my blog Parallel Lines there is probably two typical reactions :

O_O MATHS! NOOOO!

//OR//

=_= SO WEIRD.

Before you go thinking whatever you want, let me just explain why I actually chose this name. Parallel lines, their characteristic is to always be together in a certain direction. If one line does not coordinate or sync, then it is no longer parallel. Therefore, parallel lines means you won't ever be left behind. For every thing you do, the other follows closely.

In this case, honestly it could be anything. The God of your religion, your family, your friends, career and many more actually. In the end, honestly it's just what you can put your trust onto. And I know that  I may not write what you would like to hear, or read, and my literature may not sound right, and my ridiculous posts may not please you, but it's okay. I do what I want in this blog. I rule.

On a lighter note, I'll make sure this blog doesn't die off like the other one mou!
